Angry Cameroonian woman posts husband's nude photo online after she caught him in a hotel with his girlfriend

 

Wife of CPDM mayor of the Douala city council and a prominent member of the administration posted his nude photo on social media after she allegedly caught him in a hotel with one of his many concubines. The mayor refused to resign since the nude photo went viral on social media. 

According to Cameroon Intelligence Report, the man had a long and successful session in a hotel with one of his many concubines when his wife, said to be a publisher stormed the room and took photos of him. 

"Internet users are wondering about the publisher’s interest in releasing on the internet a picture of a man she calls her husband. Many have questioned if is a blackmail that went wrong or an attempt to undermine the image of the deputy mayor?

"This phenomenon is increasing in Cameroon despite a new penal code voted into law that prescribes severe punishment on attacks on privacy using the social media"

Couple kill pregnant woman as they try to cut her baby from her belly

A couple who wanted children of their own but couldn’t because of cysts in the wife’s ovary, have been arrested for luring a pregnant woman and attempting to cut her baby from her womb, killing both mother and child in the process.
Thaina da Silva Pinto and her husband Fabio Luiz Lima lured 22-year-old Rayanni Christini Costa to their home under the pretence of donating baby items to her.

Thaina who is 21 years old has been married to Fabio for three years, but upon discovering she could not have children she pretended to friends and family that she was pregnant and even went as far as posting photos of her swollen tummy on social media. She then joined a Whatsapp group for people wanting to donate baby items where she then got access to pregnant women in need.

It is believed that she had contacted other poor pregnant women under the guise of offering them charity, but upon discovering they planned to show up with friends she cancelled the meeting.   Sadly, the victim turned up alone to collect the non-existent items after dropping her daughter off at the crèche, only to meet her end.

CCTV footage showed Rayanni meeting her abductor, Thaina, at the Central do Brasil train station in Rio before Thaina convinced her to follow her back home where her husband was waiting. The police have disclosed that a knife was found in a room in the couple’s home and there were pools of blood in more than one room. The charred remains of what is believed to be Rayanni’s body and her baby’s was also found in the home of the couple in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Woman dies on her first wedding anniversary, husband mourns her

A heartbroken man, Kamal Effendi, took to social media to mourn his beautiful wife pictured above with him, who died Tuesday, Dec. 27th,  which was meant to be their first wedding anniversary. He wrote:

"Somewhat everything feels like a dream, a temporary moment of reverie; thoughts floating with feet not quite on the ground and head is way above the clouds. Of all days, Allah decided to take you today, on our first wedding anniversary. Who would ever thought, on the very same date after 365 days; that same hand I first time held now would be my last time to hold. You are still as beautiful as I could remember, your soft hands and your fair skin, they never changed. 

The same kiss that was once felt hot because of the flush now as cold as ice. I could not bear leaving you alone. I want to stay, but I have to accept we two now no longer exist in the same world with different time, different currency. I am pretty sure your place is better than mine. 

If you were still here today, you know how much I will spoil you with love on our anniversary. The present that I spent time making now is for myself to keep, but it's okay, we already make a promise, when you in heaven, please look for me, I'll be waiting for you too. You will always be my first love and truest soul mate. Happy first anniversary sayang, much love from a far, I love you, always. Ever thine, ever mine, ever ours".

Photos: Couple married for 63 years die hours apart holding hands in the same hospital room

 

Dolores & Trent Winstead were married for nearly 64 years. Brought together by fate, the Tennessee couple couldn't stand to be apart.

Trent, 88, was first admitted to a Nashville, Tennessee hospital on December 5 with kidney failure. His wife Dolores, 83, accompanied him to the hospital but suffered a fatal brain hemorrhage while there. 

 

"Trent died of a broken heart" hours after his wife died, his daughter Sheryl told the Washington Post.

"Christmas used to be both of their favorite time of the year," their son, Eddie Winstead, told WKRN.

Trent and Dolores met back in the 50s in Dickson County, Tennessee, shortly before Trent left to serve in the Korean War and they wrote long letters to each other throughout his service. Trent proposed to Dolores almost immediately after returning and together they had two children, three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

"In order to not get a no, I guess, he waits until she's brushing her teeth to ask her to marry him," Winstead said.

The two made a perfect pair, with quiet Dolores stocking her shelves with countless cookbooks and the ever-outgoing Trent, spending days on the lake and months serving in Korea.

"They were opposites from each other, and I think that's what made them click," said Sheryl Winstead.

The two spent their golden years, in West Nashville until a few weeks back, went Trent fell ill.

"They said that his kidneys were failing, and they needed to get him stabilized," their son said. Dolores stood by his side as long as she could at the hospital.

"She starts having a really bad headache. She was having a brain aneurysm," their son said. "Both of them ended up in the same hospital room. From that point, she lasted about two days."

According to WKRN, Dolores was placed in a separate hospital room from her husband when she required a ventilator to keep breathing after the hemorrhage. The separation made Trent too anxious, so hospital staff broke protocol and eventually rolled her into his room so they could be together as her condition worsened.

The 63-year marriage finished weeks before anniversary 64. Eddie was tasked with breaking the news to his dad.

"I had to lean down next to him, and just kind of tell him, 'Dad, Mom has passed,'" he said. "It's kind of like his whole spirit, just changed. I told him, I said, 'Dad, if you want to go be with Mom, that's quite alright with Sheryl and I.'"

Trent would join Dolores hours later. The two who were married for decades were apart less than a day.

"A real life love story, come together right there at the end. It blows me away when I think of it," their son said.

For the Winsteads, Christmas this year will be a somber celebration. Poring through old photos, telling well-worn stories, and remembering a marriage, that will last long beyond the winter.

"It's like God made their travel arrangements and they went together, it's just really sweet," Sheryl Winstead said.

The family held a joint funeral for the Winsteads on December 16: her casket pink, his blue.

Photos: Russian military plane bound for Syria with 92 aboard crashes into Black Sea

 

A Russian defence military plane  carrying 92 people en route to Syria crashed into the Black Sea near Sochi shortly after takeoff on Sunday, December 25th.

The plane belonging to the Defence Ministry was taking its world famous choir, the Alexandrov Ensemble, to a New Year’s concert at Hemeimeem air base in Syria’s coastal province of Latakia. Those on board also included nine Russian journalists and a Russian doctor famous for her work in war zones. 

 

Backed by ships, helicopters and drones, Russian rescue teams searched for victims. Investigators said they are looking into every possible cause for the crash, including a terror attack

All 84 passengers and eight crew members on board the Soviet-built Tu-154 plane operated by the Russian military are believed to have died when it crashed two minutes after taking off at 5:25 a.m. in good weather from the southern Russian city of Sochi.

The rescue team including over 100 divers flown in from across Russia — worked from 32 ships and several helicopters to search the crash site, the Defence Ministry said. Drones and submersibles were also being used to help spot bodies and debris. Powerful spotlights were brought in so the search could continue around the clock.

Emergency crews found fragments of the plane about 1.5 kilometres from shore. By Sunday evening, rescue teams had recovered 11 bodies and Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov said fragments of other bodies were also found.

Asked if a terror attack was a possibility, Sokolov said investigators were looking into every possible reason for the crash. Russian President Vladimir Putin went on television to declare Monday a nationwide day of mourning.
"We will conduct a thorough investigation into the reasons and will do everything to support the victims’ families," Putin said.

The Black Sea search area — which covered 10 square kilometres — was made more difficult by underwater currents that carried debris and body fragments into the open sea.
Sokolov said the plane’s flight recorders did not have the radio beacons common in more modern aircraft, so locating them on the seabed was going to be challenging.

The Tu-154 is a Soviet-built three-engine airliner designed in the late 1960s. More than 1,000 have been built, and they have been used extensively in Russia and worldwide. The plane that crashed Sunday was built in 1983, and underwent factory check-ups and maintenance in 2014 and earlier this year, according to the Defence Ministry.

Magomed Tolboyev, a decorated Russian test pilot, said the circumstances of the crash indicated that all on board had died.

"There is no chance to survive in such situation," he said, according to the Interfax news agency.
Before Sokolov spoke to reporters in Sochi, senior Russian lawmakers had ruled out a terror attack, arguing that the military plane was tightly secured. Security is particularly tight in Sochi, which hosted the 2014 Winter Games and is regularly visited by Putin, who has a residence there. But some experts noted that the crew’s failure to report a malfunction pointed at a possible terror attack.
"Possible malfunctions ... certainly wouldn’t have prevented the crew from reporting them," Vitaly Andreyev, a former senior Russian air traffic controller, told RIA Novosti, adding that it points at an “external impact."

The Tupolev-154 was carrying 64 members of the Alexandrov Ensemble, including its leader, Valery Khalilov. The ensemble more widely known as the Red Army Choir is the official choir of the Russian military and also includes a band and a dance company. The choir sang 'Get Lucky' at the opening of the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, becoming an instant online sensation.

Charity activist Dr Elizaveta Glinka was also among those on board, the Presidential Council for Human Rights confirmed. Eight crew members were on the plane.

Domestic violence: Woman shares photos of her bruised body after she was beaten up by her hubby

South African woman, Yolo Pityana, shared her story of domestic violence online. According to her, she got these bruises yesterday December 25th from her husband who has abused her for the past 2 years. She wrote

"Today I break the silence. This is how i spent my Christmas of 2016. In pain and hurt. I have been beaten, and cheated on and abused for the past 2 years by my husband. Women love does not hurt and only God will complete you.

Anis Amri, the suspect in the Berlin Christmas market truck attack was killed in a shoot-out with police in a suburb of the Italian city of Milan on Friday. Anis, 24, killed 12 people and wounded dozens more in Monday's assault on a Christmas market, which has been claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group.

Italy's interior minister Marco Minniti told a press conference in Rome that Amri had been fatally shot after firing at police who had stopped his car for a routine identity check around 3:00 am (0200 GMT).

Identity checks had established "without a shadow of doubt" that the dead man was Amri, the minister said.
Amri had been missing since escaping after Monday's attack in central Berlin. He had links to Italy, having arrived in the country from his native Tunisia in 2011.

Shortly after his arrival in Italy he was sentenced to a four-year prison term for starting a fire in a refugee centre. He was released in 2015 and made his way to Germany.
German police said Amri steered the 40-tonne truck in the attack after finding his identity papers and fingerprints inside the cab, next to the body of its registered Polish driver who was killed with a gunshot to the head.

A Europe-wide wanted notice had offered a 100,000-euro ($104,000) reward for information leading to Amri's arrest.

In Tunisia, a brother of the fugitive had appealed to him to surrender and said: "If my brother is behind the attack, I say to him 'You dishonour us'."

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Thursday she was "proud of how calmly most people reacted" to the country's deadliest attack in years.
Berlin public broadcaster RBB reported that police filmed Amri heading into a Berlin mosque on Tuesday - after the attack - at a time when the investigation was still focused on a Pakistani suspect who was later released.

Officials earlier revealed that Amri was a rejected asylum seeker with a history of crime, had spent years in an Italian jail and had long been known to German counter-terrorism agencies.
News weekly Der Spiegel reported that in wiretaps, Amri could be heard offering to carry out a suicide operation, but that his words were too vague for an arrest warrant.

Amri had been monitored since March, suspected of planning break-ins to raise cash for automatic weapons to carry out an attack - but the surveillance was stopped in September because Amri was mostly active as a small-time drug dealer.

On Thursday, Berliners flocked to the reopened Breitscheid square Christmas market that was targeted in Monday's carnage. The government has appealed for people to carry on as normal and not to give in to fear. Organisers dimmed festive lights and turned down the Christmas jingles as a mark of respect for those killed.

Victims were also honoured with candles, flowers, letters of condolence and signs reading "Love Not Hate". Among the dead were six Germans, 60-year-old Israeli Dalia Elyakim, and a young Italian woman called Fabrizia Di Lorenzo. Forty-eight others were injured.
On Friday, a memorial concert was planned at the iconic Brandenburg gate under the theme of "Together Berlin".

Libyan plane hijack update: Hijackers surrender after demanding for the creation of Pro-Gaddafi party

Earlier on Friday, a Libyan airplane carrying 118 people was hijacked and diverted to Malta. After a charged standoff with military men on the airport’s tarmac, 111 passengers were freed, however, the hijackers remained on board with some crew members still held hostage.

Afterwards, the hijackers claimed to be men loyal to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, the dictator and former Prime Minister of Libya and they demanded for the creation of a pro-Gadaffi party. One of them was seen as he emerged from the plane waving a Libyan flag used in the era of Gaddafi. It is also believed that they might want the release of Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islaml Gaddafi, from prison.

At the moment the rest of the hostages have been freed.  Both hijackers have surrendered, as revealed by Joseph Muscat, the Prime Minister of Malta and have been led away in handcuffs.

Nigerian man charged with causing grievous bodily injury after beating 5-year-old boy to death in London

Marvin Iheanacho has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent (GBH) against a 5-year-old boy at a south-east London park. The 38-year-old appeared in custody at Woolwich Crown Court on Tuesday, December 20th. He was remanded into custody to next appear for a pre-trial preparation hearing on Friday, March 10, 2017. A trial date has been scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2017.

The victim, Alex Malcom, from Bromley died in hospital after suffering critical head injuries at Mountsfield Park, Catford on Tuesday, November 22. The investigation was passed to the Homicide and Major Crime Command.

Iheanacho, from Wesley Avenue, Hounslow, was arrested the following day and appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court, charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

Liliya Breha, 29, the heartbroken mother of Malcom described her son as 'beautiful, kind and gentle".

"I 'm heartbroken, I miss him. I really struggle because he shouldn't have been taken away from me. He was my best friend" She said her son, a Year 1 pupil at Archbishop Sumner CofE primary school in Kennington, was popular among classmates and enjoyed going to parks and on trips around London. He appeared as an angel in a nativity play last year and had recently completed a portfolio to begin child modelling. 

"He was too beautiful, people often thought he was a girl. He was doing a little modelling. We had just done a portfolio, he 'd had lots of offers but we never had a chance to do proper modelling"  said Ms Breha.
