President Obama: "Trump is insecure and pumps himself up by putting other people down"

President Barack Obama has described Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump as an "insecure" man who "pumps himself up" by putting other people down.

Obama was reacting to lewd comments Trump made in 2005, when he was caught on camera boasting how he can grope women by the genitals because he is a "star." A video of those comments was released by the Washington Post on Friday
.
Campaigning for Illinois Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth on Sunday, Obama said such words coming from the Republican presidential nominee shows he would be "careless with the civility and respect" that a vibrant democracy requires.
Even with polls showing Trump trailing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, Obama said too much is at stake to take anything for granted and stressed the importance for people to work hard and get out to vote on November 8.

Trump said he was "not proud" of what he said in the video and downplayed them as "locker room talk." He had earlier apologized for his remarks and dismissed suggestions from some Republicans that he step aside in favor of his vice-presidential running mate Mike Pence.
"Anyone who knows me knows these words don't reflect who I am. I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize. "I pledge to be a better man tomorrow and will never ever let you down."

The hospital where she was taken after she collapsed said she was brought dead. According to doctors, at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KMIS) she may have died of cardiac arrest and renal failure. They said the long fast led to dehydration and affected her kidneys and other vital organs.
A local NGO Balala Hakkula Sangham (Child Rights Association) had on Frirday wrote a letter to Hyderabad Police Commissioner seeking an inquiry into the girl's death earlier this week. The NGO had alleged that the minor's family members and other community elders made her undertake a fast for over 60 days as part of a ritual.
"The girl was studying 8th class in St Francis School. She was on fast for 64 days. It was over on October 1. She was on a liquid diet for the first two days (after the fast). On the third night, her blood pressure dipped and she was taken to a private hospital here where she was declared dead. We are talking to the parents and other relatives of the girl. As of now we made a GD entry. An inquiry is going on. Once something is made out of the inquiry, then we will take action legally," Sumathi told PTI.
